The Transcendent Voice – Jane Sheldon

Praised by the Sydney Morning Herald for “a brilliant tour de force” and The Washington Post for “a stunning performance”, Australian-American soprano and composer Jane Sheldon has established an international reputation for highly specialised contemporary art music for voice. In addition to her own composing, she works extensively with other composers as they create new works for voice, touring the globe with John Zorn from 2012-2017, and frequently premiering new works with Sydney Chamber Opera, where she is an Artistic Associate..
Jane is joined by Dimity Hall (violin), James Wannan (viola), Julian Smiles (cello) and Ying Ho (piano) for an afternoon of beautiful music and exceptional chamber music-making.
