The team from Playwell Events are excited to be heading back to Oberon with their amazing LEGO exhibition. Featuring a variety of custom-built LEGO models, with a wide range of themes, there will be something for everyone. The ever-popular play tables will be returning, where kids can get creative and build themselves.

There will also be opportunities to purchase LEGO sets & parts on the day from the Playwell vendors.

Science in Oberon – More than You Imagine!

This free event, held on the first day of National Science Week 2026, highlights the intersection of science and art. The day will feature an exhibition of projects and activities of the Oberon Citizen Science Network (OCSN), with an afternoon programme of brief expert talks (15-minutes plus questions) from UNSW researchers and members of OCSN, on wildlife conservation and air quality. The day will be interleaved with local musical performances.

Oberon Chamber Music Festival 2026

Save the date for the fourth edition of the Oberon Chamber Music Festival this November, which brings leading Australian classical musicians to Oberon for a weekend of concerts at the Malachi and other venues in the district. The core group of musicians led by artistic director Emma Jardine gather friends from orchestras around the country to play together in one of the most intimate forms of musical expression, in specially curated ensembles.
