D’Amore by Candelight at St Barnabas Church

Slow down and settle in for an intimate evening of chamber music by candlelight at the beautiful St Barnabas’ church. This special late-night concert explores the warm, distinctive sound of the rarely heard viola d’amore, alongside music for cello and violin.

Festival artists James Wannan (viola d’amore), Julian Smiles (cello), Dimity Hall (violin) and Emma Jardine (violin) come together for a program of solos and duos: beautiful, intimate music to listen to up close, in the gentle glow of candlelight.
