The Malachi has been fitted with a brand new movie projector, thanks to the help of an old Oberonite, John Armstrong, who used to come to the Malachi as a child to watch movies, and now runs a highly respected AV company in Bathurst: Panorama AV.
We had a fascinating start to the day when we found some old movie posters and a ‘Showman’s Press Book’ up in the roof – what a blast from the past.
And now to the future – we have a projector that is not only able to project onto our Heritage Screen, but also onto the floor – bring on some creative happenings!
