In October 2018 the ‘Malachi Revival’ weekend of events saw the Malachi Gilmore Hall revive its golden age for two days. Seven hundred attendances from the Oberon community and beyond filled the venue, and all ages enthusiastically joined together in six events across the weekend
Each event was created to relive the way the Hall was used from 1937 to 1977. The two screenings of films were extremely well attended with families filling the Hall to watch “Sing!” and the adults later enjoying the riotously funny “Hercules Returns”.
